This is my 24th year of teaching:  22 of these have been in Kindergarten!  I began teaching at the Academy of St. Bartholomew in 1991, when it was still St. Bartholomew School.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at St. John College of Cleveland, which was absorbed into Ursuline College shortly after I graduated.  I have done graduate work at John Carroll, Kent, and Baldwin-Wallace Universities, mainly learning about children with special needs.

My husband and I grew up in the Cleveland area.  Our two daughters are grown; one lives nearby and the other lives in Chicago (our favorite field trip!).  Neither one became a teacher.
