Mr. Richard Kaliszewski
My Name is Rick Kaliszewski (Mr. K). I am so excited to introduce myself as the new assistant principal of the Academy of St. Bartholomew. I have a Bachelor’s Degree for Middle Childhood Education from Walsh University, as well as a Master of Education Degree for Educational Leadership and Administration from Notre Dame College. I hold all 3 Principal Licenses covering: Grades PK-6, Grades 4-9, and Grades 5-12.
Over the past 10 years I have worked in Catholic schools as a coach, teacher and now administrator, but I consider my most important job to be an advocate of children. I am going to be spending a lot of time with the students, getting to know their personalities, learning styles, and interests. I look forward to celebrating all of their successes and seeing them grow with each day.
Not only am I excited to work with the children, but I am also looking forward to working with the parents and community. I’ve been to many different schools in various capacities during my career, and I can confidently say that St. Bartholomew has an excellent foundation for raising successful students. We are blessed to have this meticulously clean school that is air-conditioned. We are blessed to have such wonderful teachers, and most of all we are blessed because we have the support of families like you.
One of my goals for the year is to make sure that communication is open and easy. Please reach out to me (give me a call, send a quick email) with any questions or concerns you are having and I will work with you no matter how big or small the task.
Once again, I am so thankful to have the opportunity to bring all of my past experiences with me and share what I have learned to the wonderful St. Bartholomew community.
