Mrs. Karen Peterkoski
Hi! My name is Karen Peterkoski. I graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1997 and began a career as a life insurance underwriter before becoming a stay at home mom with my son Zachary in 2002. In 2005, after my daughter Samantha was born, I went back to school at Baldwin-Wallace College and began working on my teaching license.
In the fall of 2010, I student taught at The Academy of Saint Bartholomew in Mrs. Guerrieri’s second grade classroom. From my very first day at St. Bartholomew I knew this is where I belonged. After substitute teaching for two years, I began working here full time in 2012. I love teaching first grade and seeing how much progress the children make in just one year!
When I’m not in school, I can be found on the golf course, in the bowling alley, or at one of my kids’ sporting events!
