Mrs. Liane Pagan

My name is Mrs. Pagan and I have enjoyed teaching preschool at the Academy of St. Bartholomew for ten years. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from Cleveland State University, and I am certified to teach grades PreK-3. Teaching has been very close to my heart for a number of reasons. I like the children I teach, and I appreciate when they are kind to each other and learn to treat each other as they wish to be treated. I like when they sing along to Bible songs in the classroom and learn about their faith while having fun. Most importantly, I like getting to know the children and watching them make the transition from saying “I can’t do this,” to figuring out that they CAN. I am happy to be able to participate in building a foundation for their Catholic education.

I am a product of Catholic education, along with my husband and all of our children. My family attends Mass together regularly and works to implement our faith in all that we do. When I am not at school, I can usually be found at the ballpark cheering on our Cleveland Indians, or at a Benedictine High School football game watching my son marching in the band. I often visit my local library in search of new novels to read. I enjoy traveling to new places, exploring nature on family hikes, playing volleyball, and spending time with family and friends. At the end of the day, I like to relax by cuddling with our dog, Elliot.
